Fast track career at Sopra Steria: Jitske Cornelis' Story

Jitske's main job is to make sure updates to the Master Batch Record (MBR), the digital core of production, are properly tested and approved. She writes and runs test protocols in the MES system, improves documentation templates, and now leads the qualification process. In this role, she makes sure everything is ready and on time, helps train new engineers, and works to improve testing standards to cut down mistakes and increase efficiency. 

Her team spirit extends beyond her day-to-day tasks. At the client site, she works in a vibrant, multicultural environment where knowledge-sharing and collaboration come naturally. Within Sopra Steria’s Life Sciences division, she’s equally active, recently leading the Sports Community initiative to bring colleagues together through fitness and fun. 

One of her proudest moments came with the successful completion of a recent system release. The team celebrated not just with food, but with an axe-throwing session, a quirky team-building memory, even if her technique didn’t quite hit the bullseye. 

Jitske never imagined she’d gain insight into Quality Assurance so early in her career, but reviewing test protocols has given her a valuable new perspective. It's this constant learning curve, and the trust she’s been given to take ownership, that fuels her drive.
