We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Linked Data Specialist to join our team in Nieuwegein, Netherlands. In this role, you will be at the forefront of structuring, modelling, visualising, and transforming diverse and complex datasets using Semantic Web technologies and Linked Data principles.

• Solve complex issues related to making accessible and visualising diverse types of datasets and knowledge domains
• Structure, model, and transform large and diverse datasets using Semantic Web Technology and Linked Data principles
• Develop and implement ontologies and taxonomies for various information domains
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide consulting on data solutions
• Design and implement technical platforms for Linked Data projects
• Map information within ontologies and create meaningful data visualisations
• Participate in all phases of projects, from requirements gathering to implementation and consulting
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Semantic Web technologies and Linked Data practices

• HBO or WO education in IT or a related field
• Proven experience with data structures, data mapping, and Semantic Web technologies
• Strong knowledge of modelling ontologies and taxonomies
• Proficiency in RDF, OWL, SKOS, SHACL, RML, Turtle, and SPARQL
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with business stakeholders
• Experience with data visualisation techniques
• Ability to work accurately and precisely with diverse and complex datasets
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R (preferred)
• Familiarity with SQL (preferred)
• Fluency in Dutch language (required)
• Innovative mindset and passion for pushing the boundaries in digital transformation
• Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively in a team environment

• A permanent contract and a gross monthly salary between €3,000 and €6,000 (based on 40 hours per week). The exact amount depends on your experience and the role;
• 8% holiday allowance;
