Rules of participation ‘Mysteria Devoxx' Contest
By entering this contest (the "Contest"), the participant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by the following terms and conditions of participation (hereinafter the “Terms”):
1. Organiser
The Mysteria Devoxx Contest (hereinafter the "Contest") is organised by Sopra Steria Benelux SA with registered office at Avenue Fraiteur 15-23, 1050 Bruxelles Belgium, and registered with the Crossroad Bank for Enterprises under number 0474.817.275, and by Sopra Steria Netherlands N.V., with registered office at Ringwade 1, 3439 LM Nieuwegein and registered with the Chamber of Commerce with number 30086514.
Hereinafter all together referred to as the "Organiser".
2. Purpose
The purpose of this Contest is to promote Sopra Steria as an employer, with a particular focus on our Development & Testing department, and to identify promising future hires.
3. Duration
The Contest will take place between the 6th of October 2025 and the 10th of October 2025, and will be supported through:
A campaign page: https://devoxx.mysteria.dev/
A dedicated HubSpot form used to gather participant’s data;
A targeted mailing campaign;
An organic social media campaign;
A (paid) social media campaign;
4. Participation & Registration process
4.1. To validly participate in the Contest, the following steps are mandatory:
Complete all four challenges of “Mysteria Devoxx game” before the deadline of 10th of October 17:30.
Submit your data via the designated HubSpot form.
Fill in the extra tiebreaker.
Be selected as the top winner whose completed the 4 levels and got the best answer to the tiebreaker.
4.2. Only those candidates who:
have shared their data via the dedicated HubSpot form;
have completed all 4 levels of the Mysteria Devoxx game
... will qualify as finalists and be eligible for the prize.
4.3. The Organiser reserves the right to exclude any participant whose profile does not meet Sopra Steria’s hiring standards or recruitment needs.
The Organiser reserves the right to select the winner of the contest at its sole discretion, and this decision is final with no opportunity for appeal.
5. Mandatory Participation in Promotional Campaign
By participating in this Contest, you acknowledge and agree that if you are selected as the winner, you will be required to participate in promotional activities related to the campaign.
These promotional activities include, but are not limited to:
The Organiser reserves the right to feature your name, image, video recordings, and photographs in internal and external communications.
Such materials may be used by the Organiser for a period of up to ten years, free of charge, across multiple channels, including but not limited to:
Social media platforms
The Sopra Steria (career) website
Employer branding and recruitment campaigns
Internal newsletters and external press communications
Event or campaign highlights (print/digital)
This use includes:
Reproduction, editing, and distribution
(Public) display and publication
Storage and projection
Any use necessary to support the goals of employer branding and talent attraction
6. Data Consent
By participating in this Contest, as Participants you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data by Sopra Steria Benelux SA, Sopra Steria Belgium, and Sopra Steria Netherlands for the following purposes:
Administration of the Contest: Participants' personal data will be used to manage and administer the Contest, including verifying eligibility, determining winners, and awarding prizes.
Promotional Activities: Participants' personal data may also be used for promotional activities related to the Contest, including, but not limited to, featuring the names of winners on the Organizer's website, social media channels, mailing campaigns, and other promotional materials.
Consent for Future Contact: In addition to participating in the Contest, Participants may choose to consent to future contact for other purposes. By checking the consent box, Participants agree to allow the Organizer to contact them for the following purposes:
- Marketing information: Participants may receive updates and information about Sopra Steria.
- Future Campaigns: Participants may be contacted about future promotional campaigns and contests.
Participants can choose to withdraw their consent for future contact at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in any communication they receive. Please note that if you withdraw your consent on or prior to the 10th of October 2025 (end date of the Contest), you will automatically be withdrawn from the Contest.
Retention Period: Participants' personal data will be retained for the shorter of (i) the duration necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined above and in accordance with the Privacy Policy of Sopra Steria Benelux SA or (ii) the maximum duration allowed under applicable law.
Data Subject Rights: Participants' rights as data subjects are defined in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and are outlined in the Privacy Policy of Sopra Steria Benelux SA. These rights include, but are not limited to:
The right to withdraw consent for data processing.
The right to access their personal data.
The right to rectify inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
The right to request the erasure of personal data.
The right to restrict or object to the processing of personal data.

7. Agreement
Participants are required to acknowledge their acceptance of the Terms. This acknowledgment will be included in the Contest entry form as checkboxes. By checking these boxes, Participants confirm their agreement to this document.
8. Prize
Everyone who completes the 4 levels at the event, receives a Mysteria-duck. The big winner of “Mysteria Devoxx” will be awarded one Lego package of the Harry Potters’ Castle.
The Organiser reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal value if circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.
The prize is personal, non-transferable, and no cash equivalent or substitution will be offered.
9. Liability
The Organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at any time, without prior notice and without liability.
The Organizer shall not be held liable for:
Any injuries, losses, or damages (whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential) resulting from participation in the contest or;
Events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to weather conditions, third-party service failures, or force majeure.
10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The Terms are subject to Belgian and Dutch law. Any disputes arising under or in connection with the Terms shall be exclusively resolved by the courts of Brussels, Belgium.
