A deep dive into digital signage
Michael’s internship focuses on managing internal screens in the office. From writing compelling copy to designing visuals and planning campaigns, he ensures Sopra Steria’s internal messages are both sharp and strategic. "It's more than just publishing content,” he says. “It’s about aligning with broader organisational goals and keeping things engaging.”

A day in the life

Morning: Coffee, check-ins with colleagues, emails, and assignments.

Afternoon: Lunch, follow-ups, creative work and brainstorming.

Wrap-Up: Deliverables sent, a friendly goodbye, and the occasional team drink to wrap things up.

“No day is ever the same, and that’s what makes it exciting.”

Learning by doing
Michael’s biggest takeaway? “I’ve learned to think and plan like a professional. It’s been more hands-on and enriching than school.”

Professionally, he’s gained skills in strategic implementation and managing a communication mix. Personally, he’s learned to navigate cultural diversity in a real-world setting.

Michael values the autonomy his team offers and the constant encouragement. "I get to choose my tasks and feel supported every step of the way especially by my supervisor, whose leadership is both motivating and inspiring.”
