Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager specialising in Data Migrations to join our dynamic team in Nieuwegein, Netherlands. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing complex data migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions between systems while maintaining data integrity and security.

  • Lead and manage end-to-end data migration projects, from planning to execution and post-implementation support
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data migration requirements and develop appropriate solutions
  • Oversee the design, testing, and implementation of data migration processes and tools
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the migration process
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
  • Conduct post-migration audits and prepare detailed reports on project outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest data migration technologies and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations, including GDPR

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, with a focus on data migration projects
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale data transfer projects
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Proficiency in data migration tools and techniques
  • Excellent understanding of database management systems and data structures
  • Experience with risk management, stakeholder management, and resource allocation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and Project
  • Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations, including GDPR
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
  • PRINCE2 certification (preferred)
  • Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are advantageous
